So I had an order made... I made this. First one of it's kind. 5x7" shadow box, hand painted glass in reference to their beloved furbaby Opie. Starting price of $75 for this particular piece. I'm so very proud of it!
I'm starting to learn loom knitting. It's sooo tedious but in such a meditative way. I quite enjoy it and I hope I can make some awesome stuff very soon. Winter is upon us in the United States and I'm cold by nature - they're calling for a rough season so I need all the beanies and scarves and things I can get!
So I made these little uglies for my business this week for Halloween. It was SO hard to do with everything still hurting so much, but I immediately got 3 orders and it made it feel somewhat worth it. I hope market tomorrow goes well and all of my Gordons (yes, I named them Gordon. Get it?) find homes with feline furriends.
I have another order and I'm so happy. 🥰 I have such a busy week ahead of me. I really hope I don't accidentally over-exert myself because I've been itching to get back to work. I've never known what it is like to enjoy what you do as a career. I hope everyone can find this kind of inner peace and joy. What do you do? Are you happy with your career choice? If you could do anything, what would it be?
